    Maxwell and fryrender are the best for realism but it takes days to render vray is fast and effective but no volume effects mental ray is fast and you can do anything but a little slower than Vray Final render is the fastest but less realism Brazil is really good but slower than mr and vray

    So it is your choice ))

    So what can Vray not do ? As i would like to get a realistic style like final fantasy spirits within but also be able to make artwork in the style of final fantasy advent children.

    hey, me from bangladesh, a very new usar. i am doing my graduation course in architecture and very interested about max and vray as well. Can anybody help me in this sector? my email id is: archfusion@yahoo.com i m doing some work in max but my render is not that much good to submit over here. how can i increase myself in this sector? i m waiting for everybodys response...

    V-RAY is good but slower than mental-ray....
    i myself use V-RAY but i know that mental-ray is the most
    proffesional render engine...but getting the best result is more
    difficult than V-RAY...
    so V-RAY answers need of both proffesional & new users...
    i also tried FINAL-RENDER & i love its caustics but i didn\'t compare
    between F-R & V-RAY speed...
    but i guess it\'s slower than V-RAY...
